HELP of Ojai’s mission is to combine community and individual resources to respond to the identified unmet basic human needs of individuals in the Ojai Valley.
HELP of Ojai is celebrating over four decades dedicated to making a difference in the Ojai Valley.
Your caring contribution provides hospice and respite care for individuals and their families; homeless services – including food, clothing vouchers and financial assistance; senior programs and services – including health and wellness screenings, bingo and yoga; senior nutrition programs – including onsite and home delivered meals; adult day care for individuals who are aging, frail, and/or with cognitive and physical disabilities; transportation assistance and much, much more.
The Student Bereavement Program is designed to foster an outlet and an environment that provides these children the resources they need. Without the Student Bereavement Program, many of the students may not be able to receive counseling. This program is free for students accessing the services.
The Student Bereavement Program provides counseling services to students, ranging from kindergarten through high school, who need support after suffering a loss in their life, which may include divorce, a recent relocation, the death of a loved one or another traumatic event.
HELP of Ojai was created by and is enthusiastically supported by people just like you. People who took a little time out of their busy schedules to help make the world a better place, transforming their own lives in the process.
It is not easy for people out there. People are not finding jobs. People’s savings and investments have not rebounded. People are in need of food and financial assistance to make ends meet.
HELP of Ojai is here to reach out to the people most in need. Volunteering is the greatest gift you can give to your neighbors, your community and yourself.

We are now serving meals at our West Campus location, 370 Baldwin Road.
Please join us Monday-Friday at noon for wonderful food and fellowship!

The drivers who provide services for HELP’s transportation program have as many stories as they have relationships with their riders. One of the drivers smiles as he remembers 102 year old Mary, who was always delighted about the ride to her hair appointment. Even with her walker, double hearing aids and near blindness she rarely missed her chance to chat with the driver and other riders.
