| Caring Neighbors and Hospice |

A caring community begins HELP of Ojai has amassed a small army of Caring Neighbors who regularly volunteer, visit, provide support and offer occasional practical assistance to frail and elderly people, the handicapped, or those with chronic illness. Counseling is also available from Caring Neighbors for anyone suffering from issues of loss as a result of retirement, physical impairment, aging, illness or death of a loved one. Trained staff provide assessment and referral to health care professionals and related services provided by HELP of Ojai. Caring Neighbors support groups provide a safe, nurturing environment that allow people with common concerns or needs to meet.
