Starting October 8, 2026, HELP of Ojai's donation center will move from 370 Baldwin Road to 821 E. Ojai Avenue, across from Westridge Market in the same lot as 2nd HELPings Thrift Store.

When you bring donations to the new location:

- Drive with caution. The lot is shared with Taekwondo students, American Legion patrons, thrift store shoppers, and pedestrians.

- Follow the posted signs to the donation area.

- Drop off at the back of the building.

Donation hours: Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 9:00am-2:00pm.

We no longer accept donations at 370 Baldwin Road. Please don't leave items at the old site.

What We Accept

• New and gently used clothing, shoes, and purses

• Toys

• Books

• Small working appliances (e.g., coffee makers, electric skillets, oil diffusers)

• Household items

• Furniture weighing less than 40 lbs

• Jewelry

• Office and school supplies

• Artwork and collectibles

• Dishware, flatware, and glassware

• Linens

• Craft supplies

What We Cannot Accept

• Furniture weighing 40 lbs or more, or with stains, odors, or in need of repair

• Televisions

• Mattresses or waterbeds

• Anything that requires installation

• Chemicals (cleaning supplies are welcome for our own use)

• Car parts, batteries, or tires

• Wall-to-wall carpet or padding

• Anything soiled

All items should be clean, in good condition, and in working order. Not sure whether something is a good fit? Ask yourself whether you'd give it to someone you know, or buy it in the same condition.

Donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. Please ask for a donation receipt.
