Craft and Create
Craft and Create with Christine will meet on the first Monday of every month, beginning Monday, February 2nd, from 2:00pm to 3:00pm. In February, we will explore a fun and easy art project creating whimsical birds in flight with felt and simple embroidery fastening techniques, feathers, buttons and beads. Or if you choose, a collage on paper using fun small objects, trinkets, and unusual papers and transforming them into unique, textural compositions with simple gluing. This fun, no-skills-needed class is the perfect way to spend an afternoon creating art that is entirely your own! In March, we will explore a watercolor technique, with plants and leaves, to create simple and lovely pieces of art.

Craft and Create
Craft and Create with Christine will meet on the first Monday of every month, beginning Monday, February 2nd, from 2:00pm to 3:00pm. In February, we will explore a fun and easy art project creating whimsical birds in flight with felt and simple embroidery fastening techniques, feathers, buttons and beads. Or if you choose, a collage on paper using fun small objects, trinkets, and unusual papers and transforming them into unique, textural compositions with simple gluing. This fun, no-skills-needed class is the perfect way to spend an afternoon creating art that is entirely your own! In March, we will explore a watercolor technique, with plants and leaves, to create simple and lovely pieces of art.

HICAP Counseling Appointments
Health Insurance Counseling & Advocacy Program (HICAP) will hold appointments on the second Wednesday of each month; January 14th, February 11th, and March 11th. Appointment slots will be at 10:00am, 11:30am, and 1:00pm. This program provides free and objective information and counseling about Medicare. Watercolor Basics with Merilee Allen will be held on three Mondays: January 5th, 12th, and 26th, from 1:00pm-2:30pm. Explore the magic of watercolor in this class covering the color wheel, primary and secondary colors, warm vs. cool tones, and complementary colors. You'll practice blending and mixing, culminating in a final painting. Limited to 10 participants. A $5.00 materials fee is due at the first class, and a suggested $5.00 donation is welcome for each session.
